Programs

Ware Prep Academy of Atlanta (WPAA) is a nonprofit Faith Based Private School offering a post-graduate program, a high school core sixteen class curriculums and training for the SAT and ACT for both students and student athletes. The school is accredited through the Georgia Accreditation Commission, Inc.

Obesity is a major challenge for today's society. WPAA has a mandatory exercise program, where all personnel and students are required to work out in a managed program under supervision for a minimum of 2 hours per week. Our program will combat obesity and promote sharper brain function. Also, WPAA has a focus on state-of-the-art technology, maintains a low student to teacher ratio, and features an infrastructure of support for all of its students.

Students in the Post Graduate program are encouraged to take classes that will prepare them for college. In as much as College curriculums are stressing writing our post-grad student curriculum will consist of a writing class, due diligence study techniques, life skills and SAT/ACT Prep. At WPAA, it is our goal to focus on student athletics and academic preparation for college. WPAA also offers a high school curriculum for those students in need of an NCAA clearinghouse certificate.

The focus of WPAA Post Graduate and High School program is to:

  1. Qualify students and student-athletes for college if they have not already earned their high school diploma and/or NCAA Clearing House Certification.
  2. Providing students and student-athletes an additional opportunity to earn a scholarship and/or opportunity to play at the collegiate level
  3. Allow the student-athlete to maintain all of their years of NCAA college eligibility.
  4. Allow students an opportunity to take SAT/ACT prep class as a means of improving their scores.
